Families

A family will consist of roughly 4-10 people.  Where do you think you fit?

PIGFIRKERS: dirty jobs and all things porcine, including butchery, the chemical makeup of proper mud or slop, and straight-razor shaving (I actually met a young barber who grew up in Mexico and learned to shave on butchered pigs). The lineage of anyone in our family can be traced back to the Pigfirkers.

HERDERS: all things related to animal herding: sheepherder, cow-herder, rat-herder(?), crook-making, dog-training, mysterious animal calls...

YANKERS: all things dairy/cow/goat-related, including dairy farmers, milkmaids, buttermaking and/or sculpting, cheesemaking, and the like.

COOKS (or FARMERS): all things food and food prep, including farming. Lots of creative fodder here.

PETROCS: Hobby Hoss and other related fertility rites/knowledge.

SPINNAKERS: all things fabric and craft related including spinning, knitting, sewing, basket-weaving, leatherworking, sheep shearing, etc.

BREWERS: fyne fermented drinks and libations. And perhaps a goodly knowledge of yeast! O_o

SAGES: lovers of herb and plant lore, medicines, and light apothecary skills.

LOAFERS: hired hands of any kind (“Will Work for Insults!”)

RUSTIKS: The Rustiks are the wayward poets and storytellers, the starving actors, singers, musicians, and dancers of the guild. Their talents are renown far and wide... or at least as far and wide as our guild yard’s borders.

GAWKERS: Our distant cousins who have never attended a faire before. They are the window shoppers, the audience, the lookyloos. They interact with vendors and other shows to increase excitement by displaying their own amazement at the wonder of everything. They ask questions to allow others to play their wares, pitch their gigs, explain their set pieces, etc...
